Mr. Snyder possesses a diverse background in planning and economic development, including experience in both the public and private sectors. He has worked as a planner for a County Planning Commission, as the staff planner for a major Midwest law firm, and has been involved as a consultant in scores of land use, municipal, military, and environmental planning efforts. His assignments have included projects throughout the United States , as well as in Bahrain and Korea .
Mr. Snyder's experience includes a considerable amount of work in creating a broad range of successful public/private partnerships that have assisted municipalities in their economic development efforts. His work in federal and state historic tax credits, brownfield development tax credits, and tax increment financing (TIF) has helped in leveraging significant investment in the development (and redevelopment) of many communities. Mr. Snyder also possess expertise in the writing and review of municipal zoning and subdivision regulations, as well as in the development of similar documents for military installations which help guide the integration of civilian and military uses at such facilities.
Mr. Snyder served in the United States Marine Corps and is the recipient of numerous individual awards from the Corps.
