  • EDR has been retained by the City of Effingham, Illinois, to create a new Business District for an area of the City between Keller Dr, Fayette Ave and I-57/I-70. This Business District will assist with new development projects, incentivize redevelopment, and help provide infrastructure to included properties.
  • Major EDR project highlighted in IEZA Quarterly Newsletter ("Project Spotlight: Missionary Ventures"). EDR worked with the City of Belleville, Illinois, to create a TIF and Business District, and expand the City's Enterprise Zone, to assist with the development of 45 acres on Route 15.
  • EEDR is a Gold Sponsor at the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) Downstate Illinois P3 Retail Luncheon Program ("How Demographic Changes are Affecting Retail”) in Fairview Heights on August 25.
  • Kaldi's Coffee to open in the newly rehabilitated historic Gerhart Lofts at Laclede and Vandeventer in midtown St. Louis. EDR helped negotiate the parcel development agreement between Capstone Development Group and the Cortex West Redevelopment Corporation, which enabled the rehabilitation of this historic building into a new mixed-use development.
  • EDR advised the Village of Cerro Gordo, Illinois, in the expansion and future construction of a new Kirby Medical clinic and Sav-Mor pharmacy in the Village's southern commercial corridor.
  • Madison, Illinois, has entered into a Redevelopment Agreement with XXX Land Company/111 Salvage to develop a 45-acre retail auto salvage yard in the City's Bend Road Business District (created by EDR), which is proposed to generate an estimated 3 million dollars in sales each year.
  • Madison, Illinois "River's Edge Tax Increment Financing Area", created by EDR, hosted Vice President Joe Biden as he spoke about the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act and the development of the South Harbor at America's Central Port. Since its initiation in 2003, this TIF Area has attracted over $75 million in private investment.
